Lake Mburo is a Great safari park; though it is small, without many popular animals, being able to walk in the park with a wonderful ranger (Andrew) was a joy and bought a new perspective to our safari experience.  The Mhingo Lodge was in a class of its own.

Our Safari was very good and Advanced Tours and Travel was very helpful in arranging it. Farouq is excellent Tour guide/Driver.  Very good natured, we felt safe with him at all times.  He took good care of us, he’s Punctual enough  

The gorilla trek was an unforgettable experience – being in the middle of the rainforest with 19 gorillas was indescribable, seeing so many magnificent animals in the wild in QENP was a high point for us all

Our safari exceeded our expectations and we were very happy with it. All was excellent services. Accommodation at Jacana was outstanding and we would love to return there one day...

Ours was not one safari but a series of mini adventures which comprised of a boat ride to the bottom of Murchison Falls, followed by a visit to the top of the falls which is absolutely breathtaking, a visit to Budongo Forest Reserve to track the Chimps (who evaded us all day), a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where we saw all six of the remaining eight Ugandan rhinos and a day in the game park which was stunning.

We found Advanced Tours and Travel Company to be very accommodating, changing times and itinerary to suit our requirements as opposed to the usual scenario in which the client is not given any options!!!!!!!!!

 Our driver seemed to manage the impossible in that he could drive all day remain calm and relaxed and never forget to ensure that we were looked after. He dealt with everything including all payments, was always early, very knowledgeable on the wildlife and always had a smile on his face. We all enjoyed his company and easy going manner, even when we changed the itinerary whilst en route.

Our vehicle was good spending so long in it you view it as home. There’s not much you can say, it was great for the day in the game park as it has the pop up roof enabling you all to stand and view the game. The seats were as comfy as they could be (better than a Land Rover with its hard springs) and we all seemed to manage to find positions to doze in. Even though it didn’t have air con we always remained cool…

I have to be fair to say that I got everything I wanted plus a little bit more, the scenery just takes your breath away. Even the journey to and from the national park leaves you with images that you’ll never forget.

I couldn’t have too much to say about Advanced Tours and Travel Company I’d say it is more a case of maintaining a standard you have set, in the customer service before hand whilst arranging the trip and your follow up communications. Thank you Patience…

The safari we undertook crammed a lot into a few days. It meant we did a lot of driving over the FEW days period which I wouldn’t necessarily call relaxing. It did however introduce us all to the beauty of Uganda and its many wonderful sights and wildlife. Trekking after the Chimps was frustrating as we wanted so much to see them; they on the other hand enjoyed a game of hide and seek which they won. We heard them all day but never actually saw them other than a fleeting glance. It’s a good reason for us to return. Actually walking up to the rhinos was an experience I’ll remember for some time. We also saw the pain that poachers inflicted upon the animals when we saw some of them trailing snares behind injured legs. It brings home to you (when you ask the driver why this takes place), just how delicate the balance of life can be in that region. As I said, a memorable and thought provoking experience.

We stayed at the Paraa Lodge, only arriving late each evening and leaving early each morning. It is however situated on the top of a hill overlooking the Serengeti. To sit there of an evening gazing out upon the vastness of it all is incredible. The rooms are very clean, tidy and well appointed. The food as far as the 19 year olds we had with us was great. It was served as a buffet which meant they went up numerous times and moaned about being ‘stuffed’.

All in all an amazing trip for which I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Advanced Tours to other friends and contacts.…

We were two of us on a safari and it was Very very good! Unfortunately we missed the lions because it was too hot. Advanced Tours and Travel was very helpful and took the time to answer all our questions. Farouq was our Tour Guide/Driver; he is an excellent guide, very sweet and helpful.

Our safari was an unforgettable experience. Especially the chimp-trekking in Kibale and the boat cruise was very cool and very fun! It also meant a lot that we had Farouq as guide, because he was so sweet and could tell many stories about the animals, the towns we drove by e.t.c

Our accommodations were very good especially in Kibale. For the good work done therefore we very much recommend advanced tours and Travel to all friends!

Advanced Tours and Travel Incredibly helped us in arranging our safari with patient and my ever changing itinerary and questions! Patience is fantastic!!!

Farook was such a brilliant driver. He was incredibly patient and seemed determined to give us the best time possible. He was always on time, his knowledge was never ending and we felt very safe in his car! We had such an amazing time! Camping was such good fun and really provided us with the whole safari experience. Everything was planned to perfection and we absolutely loved every second of it!

Our Accommodation was basic but very nice. The tents were in excellent condition and the campsite was lovely. The food was also of a surprisingly good standard. I 100% recommend Advanced Tours and Travel Ltd for their good work and hospitable services...

Gorilla tracking was such an amazing safari for us, we went trekking in Nkuringo with high hills and natural forest took us the whole morning and finally we got to where the Gorillas were, watching fifteen Gorillas was an amazing experience to last a life time and Farouq managed us and could always work so hard to see that we get all we need.
